We make it easy to be green!
Tampabaytoner.com has been recycling toner
cartridges for since 1995 in the Tampa Bay area. We bring you
printing that positively impacts the environment.
Did you Know:
- On average each laser toner cartridge contains 2.5 pounds
of plastic, one pound of metal and takes 1,000 years to degrade?
- Over 500 million laser and inkjet cartridges are consumed
each year, less then 25% of these cartridges are recycled?
- That aftermarket imaging supplies industry is responsible
for reclaiming over 42,000 tons of empty toner cartridges
each year that would have otherwise been sent to landfills.
This process also aids in saving energy as each compatible
toner cartridge helps to save over 3 quarts of oil.
Malvern and their vendors strive to include enviromentally preferred
activities and material within our own operations.
- Cartridge Boxes-A majority of our boxes used for our remanufactured
toner products are made with more then 40% recycled material.
No hazardous chemicals or resources are used in the manufacture
of these boxes.
- Packing Material-Packing Paper contains over 20% of recycled
material. We try to reuse shipping matieral whenever possible..
- Wood Pallets-only recycled pallets are used and sent for
recycling at end of life.
- Toner bottles-are delievered to a recycler for reuse and
recycling.
- Primary Charge Rollers-are sent to a third party for recoating

This picture represents how many empty toner
cartridges just one of our customers used to throw away each year
before they started recycling with Malvern Group Cartridge Services.

Tampabaytoner's sister company, ShredderMike.com
started in January 2009 with the intent of helping Tampa Bay business
and residential customers with their shredding needs. We provide
a Walk-In, Drop-Off, Pick-up (minimum 5 boxes) or monthly (no
contracts) shredding service. When we have collected a minimum
of two tons of shredded material, a recycler will combine our
shredding with their recycled paper material. It is then transported
to the paper mill where it will be transformed into recycled copier
paper, paper towels, toilet paper and many other recycled paper
products.
